• Administering the Siebel Services [Starting, Shutting, etc.]


• Using Command-line operations to start and stop the siebel servers


• Managing the Server Components


• Managing the Application Object Manager instances Environment


• Configuring the browser for web clients for developers


• Supporting the developers by extracting local database files for them to develop


• Applying patches in all development machines and guiding them for further upgrades


• Supporting developers for unit testing with test data setup


• Supporting testers for dev functional testing with test data set up


• Creating the release notes with the objects changed when the objects are moved from development to testing during releases


• Managing developer SIFs movement in and out of dev environment to reduce interdependency on waiting for projects, applying sifs which were lost during testing


• Manage activities of the Application Administration such as, to move the LOVs, Workflows, Personalization Rules, Runtime Events, Client-side Business Services, Workflow Policies, Running EIM jobs to maintain all environments,  etc., from Dev to test and update and maintain in Dev test and production


• Applying database changes


• Exporting the Database file to the test environment and production


• Importing the Database file from the test environment and synchronization etc.,


• Troubleshooting basic Database problems and escalating DB problems to the DB administrator and getting it resolved.
