Latest Version of CSG ICMS Enables Operator to Support Customers
with Differentiated Service
GUAM (June 21, 2005)--CSG Systems (NASDAQ: CSGS), a leading global provider of customer care and billing solutions, today announced that GTA, a local exchange carrier providing telecommunications services on the island of Guam, has successfully deployed the latest version of CSG® ICMS.
The upgrade to CSG’s newest version of ICMS supports the operator’s transformation from a government entity to a privately-held telecommunications operator. GTA, which has used the ICMS platform since 1999, sought to upgrade its billing systems in order to prepare for privatization, which became effective Jan. 1.
In addition to the ICMS upgrade, GTA will leverage CSG’s print and mail services to produce monthly statements for its 40,000 subscribers and also will leverage complementary solutions offered by CSG partner Sateri Systems to provide electronic bill presentment and online customer service.

Sateri provided a dynamic project team of 7 consultants to implement SWAN in 30 different oil and gas locations over a span of two and a half (2 ½) years. The sites varied in size and geographic regions; from the largest metros to the most remote areas in India presenting a wide-range of unique obstacles for the team to overcome.
Sateri’s dedicated team of skilled professionals prepared and executed a comprehensive implementation plan including :

Although the large volumes and poor quality data posed a major challenge, the Sateri team achieved all milestones without a single slippage in schedule or delivery. The available data was first culled from physical files, analyzed, entered into a database, then verified prior to its introduction into the final Oracle database.
As part of the implementation, Sateri provided user training on the new Web Add-on functionality and helped the Oil and Gas company employees fully understand the changes in their business processes. The users were able to quickly see the value of the new application. Redundant tasks were eliminated and critical information was now at their fingertips through online access.
The completion of the SWAN implementation resulted in 100% automation of business processes throughout the company enterprise. SISL was very pleased with Sateri Systems’ performance and they recognized the flexibility, adaptability and sincerity the consultants showed throughout the implementation as critical success factors to the project.
